Refund Policy

We want you outfitted with gear you love. If something is not working out, we make returns straightforward.

Our 30-day return window

You have 30 days from the delivery date to return most items for a refund. To qualify, items need to be unused, in their original packaging, and with all original tags attached. We know gear sometimes needs a quick test at home to check the fit or feel, but anything that has been used in the field, washed, or installed cannot be returned.

How to start a return

Email us at support@onlineoutfitters.ca with your order number and a quick note about what you are returning. We will send you return instructions and confirm where to ship the item.

In most cases, the customer covers return shipping. If your item arrived damaged, defective, or we sent the wrong product, we cover the return shipping and make it right. Just send us a photo when you reach out so we can get things sorted quickly.

When you will get your refund

Once your return arrives at our warehouse, we process refunds within 5 business days. Your refund goes back to the original payment method used for the order. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take a few extra days for the funds to show up in your account.

We will email you a confirmation as soon as the refund is on its way.

Items we cannot accept back

A few categories are non-returnable, so please choose carefully when ordering:

  • Electronics that have been used or installed, including GPS units, satellite communicators, and similar devices
  • Consumables that have been opened, such as fuel, food, bear spray, and personal care products
  • Anything marked Final Sale on the product page or at checkout

If you are unsure whether an item qualifies for a return, email us before you ship it back and we will let you know.

A quick note on fairness

We trust our customers, and we ask the same in return. Returns that show clear signs of use, missing components, or damage from the customer may be refused or refunded at a reduced amount. We will always explain our reasoning if that comes up.
