The lithium battery built for serious ice fishing electronics.
If you're running LiveScope, MEGA Live, ActiveTarget, ECHOMAP, or any modern forward-facing sonar setup, you've already learned that lead-acid batteries can't keep up. Voltage sags, screens dim, picture quality drops, and you end the day with half your fish-finder runtime gone. The Amped Outdoors 52Ah is what serious ice anglers and tournament-style boat anglers run instead.
This is the larger of the two Amped Outdoors batteries we carry. Pick the 52Ah if you fish all-day sessions, run LiveScope continuously, or want a single battery that powers a full day without swapping. If you fish shorter sessions or just want a lighter pack, the 32Ah version makes sense.
Why lithium beats lead-acid for fish-finders:
-
Steady voltage all day. Lithium holds its voltage at 14.8V from full to nearly empty. Lead-acid sags as it drains, and your fish-finder display goes with it.
-
Half the weight. 7 lb 1 oz versus 25-30 lb for an equivalent lead-acid. Easier to carry on the ice, easier to fit in a tournament pack.
-
800 to 1,000 charge cycles. Three to four times the life of a typical lead-acid. Runs you longer per dollar over the life of the battery.
-
Full power in cold weather. Operating temperature down to -20°F. Lead-acid loses 30-40% of its rated capacity below freezing.
Built for these fish-finders and electronics:
- Garmin LiveScope and LiveScope Plus systems
- Humminbird MEGA Live
- Lowrance ActiveTarget
- Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra series
- Garmin GPSMAP series
- Humminbird Helix series
- Any 12V or 14V fishing electronics rated up to 17V input
Bluetooth monitoring:
The 52Ah includes built-in Bluetooth monitoring. Pair it with the Amped Outdoors app on your phone to see real-time voltage, remaining capacity, charge cycles, and time-to-empty estimates. Useful for tournament anglers who can't afford to run out mid-day, and for anyone who wants to know what their battery is actually doing.
What's in the box:

Safety information
Read before using or charging the battery.
Charging: Charge only with the supplied 16.8V Amped Outdoors charger. Using any other charger may damage the battery and void warranty. Do not use this charger on non-BMS batteries such as sealed lead acid (SLA). Charge indoors only — the charger is not waterproof and is not rated for on-board boat installation.
Storage and handling: Store and charge indoors. Do not leave the battery or charger in a boat where they can get wet. Do not place the battery near heat sources or open flame. Do not submerge in water, salt water, acid, or alkaline fluids. Do not crush, puncture, dismantle, or short-circuit the battery.
Use limits: This battery is intended for 14.8V fishing electronics only. Wiring in parallel is permitted for higher capacity. Do not wire in series. For higher voltage applications, contact us before purchase.
